We build point-of-sale software in Qatar, for Qatar
Outale is a cloud point-of-sale and business management system for restaurants, cafes and shops. It is built here, supported here, and designed around how businesses in this market actually run.
What we make
Outale is one system rather than several. The till, the kitchen screen, stock and recipes, suppliers and purchase orders, staff and shifts, expenses, documents and fixed assets all live in the same place — so the numbers agree with each other instead of needing reconciliation at the end of every month.
It runs in a browser on hardware you already own — an Android tablet, an iPad, a Windows machine. There is nothing proprietary to buy to get started.
What we believe
A till that stops during a rush is not a till
Offline mode is included on every plan, never sold as an upgrade. When the internet drops, orders, the cart and receipts keep working on the device and sync automatically when the connection returns. Charging extra for that would be charging extra for the thing working.
Arabic is not a translation layer
Kitchen staff often read Arabic more comfortably than English while management wants reports in English. So kitchen tickets print bilingually and the whole interface works right-to-left — not as a setting bolted on at the end, but as how the product was built.
We never take a percentage of your sales
A flat monthly price, and that is the whole price. Per-transaction fees start small and quietly become the largest line on the bill as a business grows, which means the better you do the more you pay for the same software. We do not think that is a fair trade.
You should be able to leave
Monthly plans run month to month, and your data stays exportable the entire time. We would rather earn the next month than hold your catalogue hostage. A vendor confident in their product has no reason to make leaving difficult.
Where we are
Doha, Qatar. That matters more than it sounds: support runs on your timezone, we are reachable on WhatsApp like every other supplier you deal with, and the people building the software understand what Ramadan trading hours, municipality inspections and a Friday-night rush actually look like.
Who's behind it
Outale is built and supported by a small team in Doha.
