Products live in one shared catalog. Each branch keeps its own stock, can switch an item off, and can carry its own price.
Every branch side by side
Stock, stock value, price overrides and hidden items for every branch on one screen. When one branch is at zero and another holds stock, Outale points to the branch that can send it.
Transfers that account for what arrived
Request, approve, dispatch, receive. Stock leaves one branch when it ships and lands in the other when it arrives. If less arrives than was sent, the shortage is recorded against the sender. Works for products and ingredients.
The dashboard starts with the whole business
Sales and gross profit for all branches by default, narrowed to one or a few with a picker. Sales reports filter by branch, with an all-branches view and a collection report for each branch.
Staff in more than one branch
Assign a person to several branches in one step, with a role in each. Supervisors see and act only in their own branch.
Branch prices, set from the office
Each branch's price is set from the dashboard, against one shared menu. The till rings what was set, so nobody types a price at the counter.
The boundary
What works across branches, and what does not yet.
Stock counts run one branch at a time. There is no chain-wide count.
Profit and loss is a monthly report per branch. There is no combined P&L for the whole business.
An item has one cost across all branches. A branch cannot carry its own cost.
The Today screen shows one branch at a time, on purpose.
Transfers move stock between branches of the same business, not between separate businesses.
