It should not calculate alone
Revenue, profit, stock cover, and cash variance should come from the system’s own calculations. The assistant should explain the number, not invent it.
It should know permissions
A cashier should not discover profit through a chat box. Money answers must use the same role checks as the reports.
It should draft, not act silently
Drafting a purchase order is useful. Creating it without approval is dangerous. The person with permission should still press Create.
It should admit limits
No supplier lead times means no honest “order by Thursday.” No messaging engine means no automatic customer campaign. A good assistant says where it stops.
